The summary table of DSLR cameras specifications

For comparison I made a summary table of the most interesting 10-megapixel DSLR camera specifications. I know that it’s useful for people who are choosing their first SLR camera. But later I will make a summary table of 9/10-megapixel Compact cameras. In fact there are so many new attractive Compacts. And they have such cool opportunities.

Notes:
* Canon EOS400D - also known as Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xti
* Pentax K10-D - have a clone – Samsung GX-10
* Sony A100 – Sony’s first digital SLR camera with Super Steady Shot in-camera image stabilization
* I think it’s not a problem for the US that Olympus E400 is “Only available in Europe”! This device must have so loud a sensor noise because it has so small a sensor size! And it’s a big secret for me: why a DSLR camera needs 640x480 resolutions.
* As for the new Olympus E410 look through Olympus E410 vs Nikon D40x, claim to Canon EOS400D XTi but really fight against Canon S5
Special thanks to dpreview.com for information.

As for SLR lenses look through:
- Olympus ZUIKO High Grade lenses: from 8mm F3.5 Fisheye to 50-200mm F2.8-3.5 Tele
- Olympus Standard ZUIKO DIGITAL lenses: 35mm Macro up to 70-300mm Tele

Sorry! I tried to post this table the whole night. And I got lost in the blogger because Beta doesn't support posting tables.

Sony has an orientation sensor...

Thanks for the observation

Canon is probably saving a little money using their CMOS sensor and this will bring them some market share. Whether the sensor and images are better or not is open to wild debate based on personal preferences. Whether one camera feels better in your hands might just be the determining factor. You have got to go to a real camera store and handle them both.

I'm agree to Anonumous.It's better to visit a store for a good choise. I choose my Sony A100 just so.
